We love our local quilt shop the Quilting Post and we hope you'll stop by their shop while you're in town! Michelle Tompkins will bring her lovely high quality hand dyed fabrics available in a variety of tints of the same color. If you've ever learned about color theory, you'll appreciate having these hand dyed fabrics available to use tints of a certain color for your quilting and fiber arts projects. Michelle also makes custom quilts, offers longarming quilting services, and lectures with trunk shows for quilt guilds.

Under the Hill Woodworking has some items quilters will appreciate - a chain piecing cutter and seam rippers. The chain piecing cutter is mounted in a block of wood and is as easy to use as it is beautiful to look at. The cutting piece can be stored in the block for when you want to take it on retreat. Their seam rippers have the most gorgeous handles made of natural or dyed wood or resin. It'll make you not dread ripping those seems as much! They also offer pens, crosses, ornaments, and jewelry.
Hardwood Designs will be bringing their beautiful spring-loaded wood quilt clamps that make quilts easier to hang. There are no knobs to turn and an inside strip protects the quilt fabrics. Have a wide quilt? No problem, they use springs with extra tension for wider quilts. They also have nice wood quilt ladders and racks! Kent Sechrest is located in Stillwater, OK, and has had over 20 years of experience with all types of sewing machines brands. Kent is also the manager of the machine servicing department at Prairie Quilt. He'll be able to identify your problem and get your machine up and running quickly!
